Hi, I'm Jascha! I specialize in helping individuals overcome challenges and build structures to take control of their life. Whether you're navigating career transitions, relationships, seeking greater fulfilment, or striving for personal breakthroughs, I'm here to empower you.
As an artist, poetry teacher, disability community educator, and Dungeon Master, I have always enjoyed working with people to help them find new ways to understand and express themselves. Whether you could write a novel about your goals or struggle to put them into words, we can work together to make a difference in your life.
I have worked in support in different capacities for over 12 years now as a companion, tutor, teacher, mentor, coach and consultant. Whichever title you want to give the role, ultimately they all centre around working with people and empowering others.
One of the biggest skills I have found a good supporter needs is the ability to balance the three pillars of experience:

A list of frequently asked questions.
Currently, I offer two types of support: personal support and project consultations.
If you want to work on yourself in any capacity, go with personal support! There are some prompts on the homepage that may give you an idea of what personal support is about, but we can also figure out the specifics together in our first session and see how we can tailor the support to your needs.
If you are working on a project - for work, for fun, or in another context - and you need help with managing the workload (e.g. time management, organisation, learning to lead a team...) choose a project consultation.
You can also combine both options and switch between session types as needed!
Still unsure which type of support to sign up for? How about we have a chat in a free discovery session!
The short answer is: No, I do not provide clinical services. I can't give you a diagnosis, treatment or therapy.
The long answer is still no, but: There can be an overlap between clinical and non-clinical support.
While generally there are no topics that are absolutely off limits as long as you and I are both comfortable talking about them, there are limits to what we can do with some of those topics. If what you are looking for in a session is outside of the scope of my services, we can still talk about what the appropriate avenues are for you to find support, and we can make a plan to get you in contact with those support options.
An overlap between clinical and non-clinical support can take many different forms. The next couple of questions in the FAQ address a few of these overlaps.
Grief Support, Emotional Support, Processing Life Events...
Talking about emotions is something that many people reserve for close relationships and therapy. However, processing emotions can be difficult on your own, especially if the strategies you have for dealing with emotions are not helpful to you anymore. Together, we can build a toolbox to help you improve your emotional processing skills. Whether you are processing the loss or change of a relationship, or struggling with negative feelings towards yourself, you will receive support tailored to what you need.
Yes! While I cannot provide treatment for any diagnosis you may have, I do not exclude people with mental health diagnoses from my support, and I do my best to incorporate their particular needs and struggles into the support I provide.
I have particular experience supporting:
- adults and teens with ADHD
- autistic adults and teens with low to medium support needs
- adults recently diagnosed with a disability or chronic illness
Questions around Identity:
Diagnoses are not the only thing that can shake our understanding of ourselves.
Losing close relationships, being uprooted, getting hurt, and learning new things about ourselves and the world can have an impact on our identity.
I have worked with displaced people, people in the LGBTQIA* community and those who were questioning their identity in other ways to gain a better understanding of themselves and build self-compassion.
Not many things really exclude you from signing up.
However, if you are dealing with an acute mental health crisis (e.g. if you are thinking about or planning to harm yourself or others) please reach out to a helpline or a clinical mental health professional.
You deserve to get the help you need from people who are trained to provide that help.
You can sign up by following this link or clicking on one of the sign-up links on this website. One of them should be in the bottom right corner of your screen right now!
The link will send you to a website called "Carepatron" where you can choose the type of session you would like to sign up for and a time slot to schedule our meeting into. Carepatron accepts and processes payments through stripe. Currently, the only way to sign up this way is if you have a credit card.
Pricing depends on the type of support you are booking.
Discovery Sessions are a one-time free 20-minute session.
Personal Support sessions are $80 AUD for a 50 minute session at a weekly frequency.
Project Consulting sessions are $150 AUD for a 50 minute session as a stand-alone or recurring booking.
Depending on your location and payment method, stripe may charge a small extra fee per transaction. To keep this extra cost as low as possible, sessions are typically invoiced and paid on a monthly basis.
Initially you are only signing up for the one session you book through the sign up link.
During your first session, we will talk about how often you would like to meet - the standard frequency is once a week - and we'll set you up for your first month of sessions. After that, your sessions will renew by one month's worth at the end of each month until you decide to end support.
You can cancel any time by sending me an email or letting me know in session. If you want to cancel or reschedule a scheduled session, there's a 48-hour notice period. A session that is cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, not attended without notice, or joined more than 15 minutes late is considered missed and cannot be refunded. If you want to cancel your scheduled support sessions for the month altogether, the notice period is 7 days. All unused sessions will be refunded to you. Past sessions, missed sessions and sessions within the 7 day notice period are non-refundable.
Carepatron is a service that handles scheduling, invoicing, contracts and shared documents, and all the other admin stuff that comes with running a support business. It's really quite convenient!
It also allows us to have video calls through their client portal, which is where we will have our meetings.
HG Institute provides IRB- and NAADAC-approved coaching training and certifications.
According to their website, they have been "actively pursuing Continuing Education accreditation from the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB)" for their courses since 2023. Currently (as of 10/2024), certifications and trainings are only available for prospective and current coaches under contract with Healthy Gamer, LLC.
That depends on a lot of factors - I do occasionally run workshops and in-person sessions.
